Mau Eburu Fence & Corridors
Completed electrified fence around Eburu Forest (~43 km) with wildlife corridor openings toward Lake Naivasha and mountain bongo monitoring.
Eburu Forest sits within the Mau Complex, a critical water tower. Rhino Ark completed an electrified conservation fence of about 43 km, reducing human-wildlife conflict while keeping ecological connectivity in view through corridor openings toward Lake Naivasha.
The landscape is also a focus for mountain bongo recovery work with community teams, camera traps and long-term partners including the Wilder Institute / Calgary Zoo.
