Kenya’s legendary off-road challenge raising funds for mountain forest conservation since 1989.
The Rhino Charge is an annual off-road motorsport competition held in Kenya since 1989. It is a unique fundraising challenge that requires bravery and a high level of skill in off-road driving and navigation.
Organised in support of Rhino Ark, it raises money for conservation projects, including the world-renowned Aberdare Electric Fence and programmes across Mount Kenya, the Mau Forest Complex and Kakamega Forest.
Stringent environmental rules minimise impact at each venue, including refuse sorting and recycling.

KES 3,085,000,000 ($23,914,728) total sponsorship raised by Rhino Charge teams in aid of Rhino Ark conservation projects.
Host communities
KES 88,000,230 ($682,172.35) raised in aid of Rhino Charge host communities’ projects.
