Inclusion
Accessibility
This website is built to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is part of the templates, not a later skin.
- Skip link to main content on every page
- Keyboard access to primary navigation, forms, search and map markers
- Visible focus on links, buttons and form controls
- Semantic headings and landmarks; document language follows the visitor language choice (English, Kiswahili, French or German)
- Form fields have labels; status messages use live regions where needed
- Colour is not the only way to read impact or donation status
- Motion pauses when the operating system requests reduced motion
- Tap targets sized for mobile; text remains readable when zoomed
Maps
Landscape markers are buttons with accessible names. MapLibre’s zoom controls remain third-party; the place list beside the map is the keyboard-equivalent path.
