Peter Kinyua
Chairman
For many years, Peter has been involved in conservation in Kenya. He is an Honorary Warden of the Kenya Wildlife Service and was a member of the Board of the Kenya Wildlife Service, where he was the Chairman of the Finance Committee. Peter is also an active participant in the Rhino Charge. Over the past 15 years, his team, Car 23, is the highest fundraiser team in the history of the Rhino Charge. In 2022, they received an award for being the highest cash sponsor raising over KES 39million.

Adil Khawaja
Board Member
Adil Khawaja has served as a member of the Rhino Ark Board of Directors since 2018. Adil is the Managing Partner of Dentons and an internationally recognized leading lawyer. He specializes in commercial law, corporate law, real estate law, energy, oil and gas, commercial litigation, and arbitration.

Alan McKittrick
Board Member
Alan McKittrick has served as a member of the Rhino Ark Board of Trustees since 2008. An engineer by profession, he has worked with NAS Holdings Limited for many years, and serves as Group Managing Director. Mr. McKittrick has considerable experience in Eastern and Southern Africa in the manufacturing and production sectors and livestock industry.

Brian Haworth
Board Member
Brian Haworth has served as a member of the Rhino Ark Board of Directors since 2011. He is a trained mechanical engineer who ran his own construction company for 20 years. He has also worked for Homegrown (K) Ltd. as Workshop Manager, and since 2005 he has worked for the Ol Pejeta Conservancy as Logistics Manager.

Jonathan Somen
Board Member
Jonathan Somen has served as a member of the Rhino Ark Board of Directors since 2020. Jonathan is an IT expert and a well-known entrepreneur in Kenya. He is the founder and former Group Managing Director of Access Kenya Group Limited, one of the pioneer internet service providers in Kenya. He is also the founder and director of various companies in the technology industry, including Eldama Technologies Limited and Virtual IT Limited.

Crista Cullen
Board Member
Crista Cullen has served as a member of the Rhino Ark Board of Directors since 2022. Crista is a triple Olympian with a gold medal (Rio 2016) and a bronze medal (London 2012). She is also a well-known Rhino Charger.

Patrick Avery
Board Member
Patrick Avery has served as a member of the Rhino Ark Board of Directors since 2022. Patrick works as a civilian General Practitioner for the British Army Training Unit in Kenya. He is also specialized in pre-hospital medicine specifically in the field of wilderness medicine. He regularly works as the BBC remote location doctor for Sir David Attenborough. He is also on the teaching faculty for the Diploma in Expedition and Wilderness Medicine.

Lucy Chodota joined the Board of Directors of Rhino Ark in early 2024. Lucy is a seasoned Film/TV/Documentary Producer and Screenwriter with over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry. She is passionate about crafting compelling narratives and producing high-quality multimedia content that resonates with diverse audiences globally.
